Join us in our journey to promote disc golf and enhance the player experience in the Southern New England region.

Fundraising Goals

At SNEDGO, we’re working toward some exciting goals that will help shape the future of disc golf in Southern New England. We know we won’t accomplish everything overnight—but by sharing our vision and laying out what we’re building toward, we hope to inspire support from players, fans, and sponsors who believe in growing the game. Every contribution—big or small—helps us move forward to bring these ideas to life.

Below are the major projects we’re fundraising for. Each one plays a key role in helping us run amazing events, grow the sport, and create long-term value for the disc golf community in Southern New England.

Goals

Portable Tournament Basket Set

$9,500

We’re aiming to purchase 19 high-quality portable baskets (approx. $500 each). This will allow us to run full 18-hole tournament layouts with one extra basket for practice or emergencies. These baskets open the door to pop-up events at golf courses, parks, and athletic fields—bringing championship-level disc golf to places without permanent infrastructure.

Permanent Course Development Fund

$15,000

This fund is dedicated to building a brand-new permanent course in Southern New England. Once we identify a suitable property, the money will go toward baskets, signage, tee pads, and course design. Our goal is to create a standout course that serves local players and draws in tournament traffic from across the region.

Event Operations, Player Experience & Equipment

$6,000

This fund supports everything that makes SNEDGO events unique—player packs, trophies, side games (like our famous Cash Pinata), and quality on-site experiences. It also helps us purchase needed infrastructure like fold-out tents, signage, and tables. Over time, this will help us scale up to a full A-Tier event with big payouts and a festival-like atmosphere.

SNEDGO Promotion, Merch & Website

$3,500

This includes website hosting, upgrades, and marketing materials like flyers, banners, and event signage. It also supports the launch of a SNEDGO merch store—online and at events—featuring limited-edition gear and fun ways for amateur players to redeem their prize winnings.

Live Leaderboard & Tech Tools

$2,000

We’re working toward a live leaderboard setup for events, using a TV or monitor to display scores in real time via the PDGA Live app. This also funds tools to manage registration, points tracking, and leaderboard updates across the SNEDGO Points Series.

Youth & Beginner Development Fund

$1,000

This fund supports beginner clinics, youth programs, school outreach, and junior-friendly events. We’ll also use it to provide starter packs and host free events to help introduce disc golf to new players in the region.

Total Fundraising Goals

$37,000

We’re raising funds over time and tackling each project step-by-step. Every contribution helps us get closer. Want to support a specific goal or get involved as a sponsor? Please reach out to snediscgolf@gmail.com to donate.
